For over 50 years, ZRK Building Supplies has been providing customers with high-quality building materials and exceptional service. As a Shop Staff member, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers, maintaining store operations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will follow established work procedures, meet sales and customer service goals, and help maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with product inquiries and provide expert advice on building materials.
• Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately, using the store’s POS system.
• Stock shelves and ensure product displays are well-organized and replenished regularly.
• Prepare customer orders for delivery or collection and assist with loading products if necessary.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment, following health and safety guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet store sales targets and goals.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn and understand a wide range of building products.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Previous retail or building supply experience is an advantage but not required.
• Ability to lift and move products, including handling stock and assisting customers with heavy goods.
